Yes, 27, no need to refocus your eye sight. That is the incredible number of chicks that hatched in one brood in Boora over the weekend. The proud parents and chicks who are part of the captive breeding programme for 2011 are all well.
This is the largest clutch hatched out to date and we doubt it will be bettered anytime or anywhere.
Well done to Paddy Kelly who manages the captive breeding program. Keep up the good work.
